The first was that all these therapies were designed for humans. The second was that with some patients, it took a long time, requiring a lot of appointments. I wanted to create a pet oriented therapy that would work more quickly.
At my practice in Pennsylvania, I began to send a treatment vial home with the client, asking them to treat their pets in between appointments to save both their time and money. I learned that people could do this at home and that it would work just fine.
I wanted a protocol that worked well and worked fast, something that would be easy to do by pet owners, something that was designed for a dog's or cat's needs and not for humans.
The folks who developed JMT and NAET were my friends and it stayed that way. What folks like us are most interested in is that our patients get better. Here is what they wrote about me.

Dr Carolyn Jaffee, founder of the revolutionary Jaffe-Mellor Technique (JMT) writes:
“It has been my pleasure knowing you. Your knowledge, compassion, commitment and on-going concern for your patients is incomparable, as is your reputation as one of the top physicians in this country in your field of veterinary medicine.
“There is no doubt in my mind, you are an extraordinary practitioner and person- always pushing the envelope in an attempt to ease the pain for others and expand upon ideas and concepts with your focus on progress.
“It delights me that you continue to educate yourself and challenge your mind, ever evolving with integrity, intelligence and interest. It is no wonder that so many lives have been saved and changed. Thank you for your continued dedication”

NAET was heavily attacked by the pharmaceutical industry all around the world because it was so effective. It was cutting into the pharmaceutical company’s bottom line. It became illegal to do NAET in Australia. Certain States gave the NAET foundation a hard time. The other modalities did not get hit like this because they hadn’t become as well known as NAET. Because of this, the NAET doctors created a
new on-line certification course in 2015. I never took it because I was combining many allergy elimination techniques in the process of creating a protocol for animals. I’d been doing NAET, AET and JMT for almost 20 years by the time NAET changed their operating basis.
More importantly, I had developed an effective program specifically for our pets that could be used by pet owners in the peace and quiet of their own home. Also, it was affordable. The office visit for my practice in PA was 95 dollars and it oftentimes took 20 or more visits. Actually, no one seemed to mind and many folks traveled over an hour each way to come for their many visits. Remember, I often
had a waiting list for new patients! The entire treatment program that I developed, including the testing and treatment for allergies, costs less than $350.00. When you compare this to the cost of expensive and, in many ways, dangerous medications now commonly used for allergies it’s a great opportunity to potentially cure your pet of allergies.
I've been doing this rather specific pet protocol for over 10 years and I've found it to be 85% effective. Sometimes a pet has a secondary yeast or bacterial infection that needs to be handled in addition to the allergies. Or sometimes something has to be tweaked at the end of the protocol. In most cases, it's a simple easy and effective protocol that you can do at home.
It sure beats the conventional drugs used for allergies. Check out one example of a very commonly used drug by clicking the button below.
