Research has revealed the astonishing fact that your DNA can literally unravel or fray, like the end of an old shoelace. When it does, your cells begin to malfunction and die. This process is an important key to aging, and preventing aging should be a top health priority. 

What Happens to Your DNA as You Age?

Each strand of DNA in your cells has a 'cap' at the end, much like the little plastic cap on the end of a shoelace. The DNA cap is called a telomere. When this cap gets worn down, the end of a DNA strand is no longer bound together and, like a shoelace, the DNA can fray, causing mutations and malfunctions. 

And this is how we age. 

Dogs and cats and two-legged humans all age this way.

Our telomeres shorten and fray.

And we get older.

But what if we could rejuvenate our telomeres?
