A few months ago I asked my readers what their experiences were with natural flea and tick control.
Thank you all for the almost thousand responses.
Most of the responses informed me of the products that were tried and didn't work.
The only product that had any kind of repeated, positive response was the one
above.
The packaging states that these clip-ons work for 2-years. They can get wet. [That's a plus for my dog!]
You could get them
for 30 Euro in France and the shipping was about 30 Euro or there was a place in the US that had them for 70 US dollars each. I ordered 6 from France as that defrayed the shipping cost.
At first I put one pendant on my 100 lb. Yellow English Lab. The ticks seemed to be much less [one tick here
and there] but ticks are on and off during the spring, summer and fall months.
I thought, Geez... he's a hundred pounds.. while one may work for a 15 or 25 lb dog I think he needs three of them on his collar. And that is what I did.
I found you have to thread them through a basic ring and then attach the basic ring to the metal ring on the collar.
Well, after this there were no ticks. I was pretty impressed. It has been a few months now.
And when I used one disc, there was a 'rare' tick. With one disc they seemed to latch on away from the collar. {That's why the idea of putting 3 on him came into my head.}
Now, I don't know about fleas. I am not at my Florida address. That's a State where fleas have watched
too many Alfred Hitchcock movies!
If anyone tried this in Florida and is not seeing fleas, let me know.
Also, one reader
wrote to me that she found the pendants at another URL. I must apologize as I get so many emails I opened it and meant to go back to it and I cannot find that email.
If anyone wants to start a cottage industry..Hey... this may be a good idea!
Amazon has the Anibio Tic Clip for Dogs and Cats on the German Amazon, but they will not ship to the US. @35 dollars
This place has it for 75 dollars:

Lot's of ways to buy it from Germany where it is only
25 dollars.

Unless all the ticks in PA have taken a summer vacation, I think all these months with good results is a very good indication that this is a reliable
product.
